Tama Šuša (pronounced Shusha) is professional photographer based in Chicago (USA) that started a new project “Let There Be House”. By her words:

“This documentary tries to show the progression of House music since its origins in Chicago to where it is today on the global scale, and specifically in Chicago as well. What do international DJ’s have to say about Chicago? What do Chicago’s pioneers have to say about this progress? Find the answers this Summer. And let there be House”

Mowgli makes his debut release on Defected, and he’s certainly making his mark with “Back In The Day”. This record marks a departure from Mowgli’s normal style as he takes things a little deeper with this stunning, simple yet effective house track with a rather large bassline! After hearing Amber Jolene on Timo Garcia’s “Lady Luck” he got in touch and she delivered a stunning vocal. A match made in sonic heaven.

Next week legendary Ibiza club Pacha is teaming up with Argonon and digital broadcaster Videojuicer to allow online viewers behind the super clubʼs doors
for the last week of the summer season. This will be the first ever Pacha digital event, with exclusivity, access, real-time conversation and the music that defined the 2011 season.

Using state of the art HD video technology, embeddable video players will grant online users access to the live streams of the events, exclusive interviews with the artists and retrospective footage of this season. You can expect interviews and music from some of the biggest dance acts in the world including the likes of Swedish House Mafia, Afrojack and David Guetta. On demand footage of the nights will also be recorded and distributed following the weekʼs events.

Pacha will become the first club in the world to join Facebookʼs entertainment revolution with the launch of its cutting edge entertainment player offering a pioneering live and interactive video channel that will give users the opportunity to watch and interact with all of the content on offer directly from within the site through apps.facebook.com/pachatv. The Facebook app will give access to a raft of bespoke videos for music fans across the globe and exclusive films direct from the world’s most glamorous club night.

Remedy Productions, part of the Argonon group and producers of a raft of music and talent based content for UK and international broadcasters including MTV and Channel 4, will be producing high quality, cutting edge content for the site. Cameras will be installed at Pacha on the terrace, Mambos and Lios during the closing parties allowing online fans the chance to ask questions to each nightʼs DJs in real-time via twitter, facebook and the web. In between interviews, they will be showing exclusive footage capturing just some of the highlights of the 2011 season.

Pacha have also granted the cameras exclusive access to the VIP room during the Pacha DJ awards on Tuesday 27th September, which will be covered via live stream featuring interviews from a whole host of the artists at the show. With a stellar lineup of nominees that includes David Guetta, Deadmau5, Eric Prydz, Armin van Buuren, Benni Benassi, Annie Mac and Chase & Status to name a few, this is guaranteed to make for exciting viewing. We have had party pretty hard with Mr David Penn last weekend in Club Sound @ Belgrade and we have took a short video how he played some wicked remix of forthcoming track by Copyright called “Story Of My Life” – got its premiere on previous Defected In The House radio show and Sam & Gavin played it in their sets for some time. It’s probably his own remix but we’re not sure. However, bomb it is! Take a listen!
