Miroslav Pavlovic is Bosnian-based producer whose style vibrates between tech and deep. He did an outstanding remix of second biggest single “Shoulda” by Jamie Woon. It’s rather simple and starts really slowly with calm piano chords and noisy highs forcing you to listen closer. As kicks and bassline comes in the tune progresses to that melancholic feeling that we all “Shoulda” know. Breakdown is filled with Jamie’s superb vocals and the rest… Well the rest will let you listen! Early support from Matthew Hoag, Stanny Abram, Fakir, Marek Tripkowsky and others!
Amazing deep and techy EP by Miguel Rendeiro that features trippy vocal by Nick Maurer. Whole EP comes with 4 remixes, but the one we picked is M.in feat. Jules De Pearl remix that has catchy claps and proper combination of piano rolls and vocals. Pure eargasm for your ears!

As Saschienne, Sascha Funke has formed a duo extraordinaire with multi-talented instrumentalist, singer and wife Julienne Dessagne, displaying an expressivity previously unknown to anyone following his solo work. Far away from the romantic hokum of crude feelgood songwriting, both not only focus on on the harmony and bliss, but explore the discord, the misunderstandings that great love brings with it.
Saschienne‘s debut release „Unknown“ maintains the perfect balance between intimate idiosyncracies and public formatting, going from quickly sketched chords and whispered consonants to a full-blown thunderstorm in just a matter of a few tracks. It’s a hypnotic road movie worthy of Bonnie & Clyde, gaining momentum as a marathon runner would… the music reaches out further and further, always fascinated of what might be behind the next curve. This point is driven home by this track, the very first of the album, when Julienne sings, „This Unknown… keeps us together, brings us closer“. The artists themselves are perfectly aware of their taste for adventure: „Willing to know the unknown is what makes us travel forward and further… welcome on board!“.

Controversy Lana Del Rey and her debut single “Video Games” remixed by House legend Mr. Fingers. I have heard on thousands of stupid comments by every random ass-holes about Lana Del Rey… and don’t wanna hear any more. She has a undeniable talent and I’m truly enjoying her vocal. That’s all I care. Larry Heard as a remixer has done great job turning “Video Games” into hypnotic soulful related tune, as one legend should do.

Two of house music’s most established main room stars finally join forces for “La Verdad (Sentimiento)”, a latin-tinged dancefloor bomb that blows a triumphant ray of sunshine across Europe’s fast-darkening shores. As you would expect from these two masters of the beat, the groove is irresistible and the drums are second to none, with both Madrid and Valencia versions delivering the four to the floor goods with aplomb.

Italian producer Simone Fedi, hailing from Tuscany, takes things to a whole new level on this third release on Eskimo Recordings. “Bitter Devotion” is a vocal pop gem with a Balearic tinge, but its bittersweet vocals and the addictive melody will haunt you. House legend – Carl Cox is getting into spotlight preparing for us his upcoming album “All The Roads Lead To The Dancefloor” after almost 6 years of waiting! His second single from that album – “Nexus” is incredibly housematic, if we can say, with great vocal and clipping drive while techno wizard Tomy DeClerque manages to pump it up into his recognizable dark and energetic style. After a six month hiatus, ATFC returns to the loving embrace of Defected with a superb slice of vocal, tech-edged house music. Penned by Rae but performed by Lisa Shaw - “Walk Away” is typically ATFC; slick, driving beats, dominant synth stabs and polished, techy drums with Shaw’s superb vocal bringing the whole package together perfectly. As ever with ATFC there are a few version to choose from too, with the Lektrosoul Dub and Instrumental versions stripping back the vocals to leave the elements of the track exposed, while VB Weekender versions build themselves around a funk-strut bassline and dreamy chords.
