After great hype around progressive music in 2007 and 2008 when project Pryda emerged and Chris Reece pumped a few projects like Dinka and EDX, everything was going well for progressive, but eventually dutch house and electro took over that hype and today progressive music with massive chords and big drops are pretty rare to hear.
Anyways, two talented and young French producers – Thom Syma and Twill are hitting the scene with something that we can call “Pryda-a-like” progressive that has great quality and stomping breakdowns! They recently release Amys EP went without any real attention! The EP is incredible with both original and Twill’s rougher remix on bassline! If you like that full, bigroom piano sound and you like earlier Pryda works then this is just the EP for you! Be sure to check out their latest release “Infinia” too! Enjoy and expect many quality tunes from these two guys!

Diversity of production skills of this duo really comes to the fore when you hear all the stuffs they have released this year. We had incredible Panda EP that is more jackin’ house releated, than couple of remixes that were more mainroom and techy to the side and now we have this progressive edit of worldwide hit by “Lenny Kravitz”! Clean rhythmic driving with the support of simple yet smashing “swedish” synths that leads to original breaks that are all about guitars and main-theme! Grab while its hot and free since summer is almost out!

We had such a hunt few weeks ago on this song when Jamie Lewis aired it in his Purple Music Radioshow. It was almost hypnotic with the bassline, dark FXs and clipping percussions. On top of that the vocal, oh man, the vocal is stunning as it sends out direct message that “You’re Calling Me…” Blend of progressive and soulful house which makes it a masterpiece that worths every penny!

Probably the best cover of Chris Rea’s “On The Beach” I have ever heard taken from amazing “Tales Of The Sun” recently released album. Classic Dinka’s progressive synths driving in the background of smooth original guitars associating you on nothing but summer, beach and sea. Plus, today, Unreleased Digital have released some extended remixes from Arthur Deep, George F. Zimmer and Idriss Chebak that are certainly worth of checking. Enjoy and support the artists by purchasing the tunes you like!

Legendary tune “Till There Was You” by Rachel Starr and epic Gabriel & Dresden remix made this one of the best trance vocal anthems in 21st century. Even though there is no recognizable melody in this rework, Bobby Vena and JRJ did a great job getting Michelle Bourke on vocals, giving it a smoother, yet deeper mood to it and staying faithful to the rhythmic bassline! For sure one of the best reworks of this classic!
