So this is the third part of “The Best Of 2010″ post and probably the most anticipated one. It’s was really hard to pick the best “house” tune and we went by classic definition of house. It has to be a soul thing, a body thing with no particular effects in it. Maybe some of you won’t agree but when you think about the “house” it’s pretty rare to find that tune that defines totally this genre. We are going back to roots and let you enjoy in the next tracks below.

So this it. Probably one the most “housest” album with the proper “housetastic” tunes – The MuthaLoad (2010). Right house beats, piano chords, trumpets, soulful vocals and dozen of energy for dancefloor are presented in this tune. Totally unique & incredible breakdown that I’ve never heard before. It makes that culmination to the first beat after break that it makes your head and feet explode! The tune that can be played anywhere… I must stop with praise words cause you “Gotta Hold On Me”. Andrea Quirico (Italy) a.k.a NDKj is probably one of the biggest breakthroughs in 2010. With plenty of tracks and mainly focusing on funky tech-house he released and incredible “Moondancer” tune with a loads of jackin’ energy in itself. And that is the most important thing when you come to jackin’ – constant energy on the dancefloor that moves and “jacks” your body over some girl. Extra points for making this tune sound “old”.

When Alex send me this tune I was totally astounded with the amount of love that this tune express. “Bailo” (or “Dance” in English) is a masterpiece of Latin house music. It is equally big as one “Pasilda” or “E-Samba” just in a deeper, more smoother way. This tune has two parts – the vocal one and instrumental one – both flowing and merging into each other like birds over the sea. Music eargasm with this one!

The one that will be surely played and even remixed in 2011! Top stuff!

After some discussions on “The Best Progressive” track, we realized that “Bromance” should probably be the winner since it was hyped and played the most + it got special mainstream recorded vocal after etc. But… “Bromance” as you might haven’t noticed is pretty much seen before. Therefore we voted for EDX since he brought really progressive line on acapella that gives you something to think about. Maybe not the best, but certainly there were so many “already seen” progressive tune, that we will stick to this neutral one.

This should be bought without thinking!

Damn, this year was full of soulful tunes that we really didn’t know which first to choose. Still…“Still Standing” had an advantage of lyrics that are a bit deeper then the rest + there are a little prompts to Guy Robin who has only 21 and made such a song. This tune makes you shudder with it’s melody and vocals. Really deep, really soulful.
