Hot Jay vs. Cash

After a big succsess on Croatian charts last year with single “Move On Me” we produly present one of the 2010 remixes signed by Hot Jay vs Cash, duo well known to all the house people in Croatia, but also all around the globe for their track ˝Only Love˝ and few great remixes.

After remixing few tracks signed for different labels all around in 2009, and before their new single coming out soon, they teamed with two well known Croatian DJs and producers – E-base & Paul Wish, and they made really shot remix for the clubs all around. Remix already got great feedback from DJs who received advanced dj copy, and its this weeks number two on Croatian Radio DJs dance chart (www.radiodeejay.hr), along with names Like David Guetta, Eddie Thoneick, Kid Massive, Laidback Luke etc.

Remix should be out during the 2010 combined with totally new video, and Electrostation produly presents this remix few weeks before its release.

Q-Pack No.9

This is the first 2010 Q-Pack. We think that quality is more important than quantity. Therefore, we picked the best from deep house to tech-house to commercial house in last few days that came out. Please comment your favorite songs, so we can know what else do you want to see on in future Q-Packs. Enjoy! :)

^1 A-Jam & Yvonne – Impossible Is Nothing (A-Jam’s Tribal Chant Mix) – African-Tech House / I really don’t know how this passed by me, but this is one of the best songs lately. Absolutely stunning with nasty rhythm and African chopped vocals. 7/10

^2 Albin Myers – Jump (Original Version) – Progressive House / Albin Myers still proves that he is one of the best producers out there. With trumpets and sick polyphonic melody makes this “Jump” true jump on the scene. One of his best songs lately! 8/10

^3 ATFC – Computer Love (Instrumental Edit) – Soulful, Melodic House / ATFC brings us something emotional with beautiful melody. This is nice edit from his latest Defected in London 2010 mix. Can’t wait for vocal version! 7/10

^4 Blak and Spanish – No Compromise (Main Mix) – Deep House, Tech / No Compromise is raw to the core with haunting keys, rough beats & a even deeper bass. Leaning towards a political angle in the vocals, every element combines in the distinct sound we remember as Blak & Spanish. Supported by Laurent Garnier, Osulande, Groove Assassin, Grant Nelson, Jon Cutler and many more! 7.5/10

^5 Boom Jinx & Jaytech vs. Soulsearcher – Milano Can’t Get Enough (DJ Tila Mashup) – Bootleg, Mainroom House / Nice bootleg from young Serbian producer – DJ Tila. Really well fitted vocals that brings these classic song in a new brand new level. 7/10

^6 Dave Floyd Pookie vs. Ray Charles – Jack Is Back (Original Mix) – Jackin’ House / Dave Floyd and Pookie are also Serbian duo that works for a decade in studio. They did a great twist on classic tune by Ray Charles. You gonna love the original breakdown. Can’t miss this one! 8/10

^7 Dr. Kucho! – It Just Won’t Do (Paolo Peroni L.A. Remix) – Latin, Club House / After Extended Mix, Electro Station brings you Paolo Peroni’s heavy rhythm remix! True house banger! 8/10

^8 Nick & Danny Chatelain, Rodri Deniz – Movimiento (DJ Wady Ray MD Mix) – Latin, African House / I’ve got this on e-mail and was pretty suspicious in this trio. But I gave a chance and now I’m hooked to these sick beatz and amazing percussion. Rare quality tune! 8.5/10

^9 Roland Clark – I Love My Life (RC Techture Mix) – Deep House, Tech / Roland Clark is one of my all time deep house vocalist and producer. Always love his deep melody with lovely vocals. For all house lovers! 6.5/10

^10 Seamus Haji & Dino Psaras – My Destiny (Nino Anthony Remix) – Latin, Progressive House / The best remix of this track. True house banger with amazing vocals! Don’t miss it! 7/10

^11 Stefano Noferini & Criminal Vibes – Little More (Menini & Viani Mix) – Commercial, Electro House / Also the best remix with a some kind of saxophone. Neat vocals that ask us to give a “Little More”. :) 6/10

^12 The Attic feat. Oh Laura – Release Me (Playmen Remix) – Progressive House / This is a promo release that features Richard Grey, Agent Greg and Kevin Sunray remixes. Just a little sneak peak into this HUGE TUNE! 7.5/10

The Jinks

Excelent collaboration between The Jinks and Carla Prather.
Carla owned this track with her beautiful and strong vocal, and The Jinks produced probably their best track. Very emotional lyrics are written by Byron Stingily. All in all this track have soul and it’s true dancefloor bomb wich I definitely put it in my monthly top 5. :)

In todays current music scene, it is rare to find an artist who not only has the ability to write unique and forward-thinking songs, but who also has a voice that seems to fuse with the track with effortless ease…unless your name is Nastala.

Growing up in the electronic capital of Detroit, Nastala began writing and singing from an early age and eventually captured the attention of electro house big gun, Chris Lake. Once in the studio the pair soon became a winning formula, achieving chart-topping global success with tracks Only One and If You Knew. Nastalas sexy, funked-up vocals soon became heavily in demand, opening many doors in the industry as a singer/songwriter, including being asked to write for massive dance legends Tiësto and Armin van Buuren. Nastala’s early success at the heights of the dance music community gave her a fantastic foundation to move forward and guided her towards working with acclaimed songwriters Biff Stannard (Kylie Minogue / The Spice Girls) and Jonas Quant.

Now unleashing her debut single, Crazy is everything you could wish for in a bona fide electro-pop anthem. ‘Crazy’ was produced by Chris Lake and mixed by respected engineer Ash Howes (who has previously worked with Little Boots and Dido) with additional production from good friend Deadmau5 on drums and guitar.

The Crazy video was designed & directed by Andy de Vries at www.MightyElk.co.uk
