Bio:
DjHITMAN, started his DJ career rougly 16 years ago, inspired by some of Chicago’s greatest DJs, particularly Bobby D & Bad Boy Bill. By 1994, DjHITMAN had released his first mix, “SERB STYLE 1,” & it’s 1995 follow-up “SERB STYLE 2” incorporated the new, Euro-Dance sound sweeping the world over. While the mixes were successful, DjHITMAN was gaining notoriety spinning US House/Hardhouse, Techno & Eurodance loft parties, clubs, & raves.
In January of 2000, DjHITMAN released his newest mix series “ELEVATIONS Level 1,” a hybrid of Trance & Hard Progressive beats on his newly established record label, 3amRecords. The popularity of the ELEVATIONS series kept growing, & in 2001, DjHITMAN embarked in his newest challenge: mixing LIVE on ENERGY 92.7&5, Chicago’s ONLY Dance Radio station, mixing & broadcasting on-air from Chicago’s most exclusive nightclubs every Friday & Sunday night. The challenge proved a success, gaining DjHITMAN sets around America & Mexico. By 2003, DjHITMAN landed a residency at Chicago’s most esteemed mega-club, WHITE STAR. The club was owned by Chicago’s nightlife superpower, Ala Carte Entertainment, & DjHITMAN has been a resident DJ of their many venues since.
Today, DjHITMAN has grown both 3amRecords & his ELEVATIONS mix series into the achievements they have become. He eventually started several new mix CD series, including HIP HOP FIRE, RETROLICIOUS, the much-acclaimed HOUSE ANTHEMS series, & released several records & remixes. He also signed a slew of new DJs to the 3amRecords label, featuring a huge variety of styles. What’s next for DjHITMAN & 3amRecords? You’ll just have to wait & see.
