most big names use computers for the majority of their mixes that aren’t gigs to crowds. pretty much every essential mix is done in ableton or some other DAW software.

Lucaaz, it’s pretty hard to extract the vocals. you need the instrumental/dub version, and the vocal version of a track, then you invert the phase on one of them, and play both of them exactly in time, and the stuff in both songs cancels out, so you’re left with the vocal. but it rarely works like that. just join acapellas4u.co.uk and look for what you’re after on there.
